Spooktacular Parent’s Night Out
Join us for a Spooktacular evening of fun! This parent’s night out event will include pizza, swimming, costumes, and activities for ages 5-14.

BSAC Blue Wave Swim Team Competes at AAU Jr. Olympics
Swimmers on the BSAC Blue Wave team recently traveled to Greensboro, NC to compete in the AAU Jr. Olympics. It is a multisport event with thousands of participants from across the United States. The Amateur Athletic Union was established in 1888 with the philosophy of “Sports for All, Forever”.
The AAU Jr. Olympics took place over five days at the end of July. Blue Wave Coach, Rich Rogers, especially likes this event because it helps swimmers get out of their comfort zone and come together as a team. At most meets, swimmers
New Playground Coming to BSAC Fall 2019
This fall, BSAC will debut a behind the scenes project that has been many years in the making. Children and families at our main campus will soon be able to enjoy a brand new playground, complete with a shade structure.
The playground will be located to the left of the basketball courts and will be visible from the parking lot. It will have two slides, monkey bars, ladders, and other fun climbing apparatuses. Soft green turf will cover the ground and make a pathway to the gated area entrance.

BASE Offers New Clubs & New Locations
The BSAC After-School Experience (BASE), is bringing back its most popular after-school clubs in addition to exciting new options! After a long day, students can look forward to spending time with their friends while developing personal interests and hobbies in Culinary, Arts & Crafts, Robotics, LEGO’S (intro to Robotics), Community Service, Gardening, Odyssey of the Mind, and Trade. Students have the opportunity to register for two clubs in the fall, and two clubs in spring.

Camp BSAC Open House
Camp BSAC hosted a public open house to give potential summer camp guests and parents an inside look at all of the fun activities we offer! Students played minute to win it games, had access to the pool, and played life-size hungry hungry hippo. While parents were able to play, sign their kids up for summer camp and learn more about everything Camp BSAC offers!
Marshmallow Towers
Using toothpicks and marshmallows, students were challenged to make tall 3-dimensional towers. Each group had to work together to create a strong base that would be able to hold the weight of a tall tower.
