Water Safety

BSAC provides first rate Lifeguard Certification classes! Our Aquatics Director, Theresa Hickie, conducts complete lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED training right here at our facility.

Water Safety Certification

$25 per class, two hours to complete.

This class is geared toward individuals who need Water Safety certification for child care licensing, etc. Classes available upon request. Please contact Aquatics Director Theresa Hickie at (813) 689-0908.

CPR Certification

CPR Certification for Adults (Does not include AED Training)

Individual and Group classes available. Please call Aquatics Director Theresa Hickie at (813) 689-0908 to schedule a class!

Fee of $40, 3 hours to complete.
CPR Mask is $13 and is available at The Member Services Desk.

First Aid

Class is $40, 3 hours to complete.

Classes available upon request

    Ways to Get Involved

    We are always looking for volunteers to help with our programs and special events. Register to get involved here.

    Families are encouraged to become involved... for instance, Blue Wave moms may serve on the swim meet planning committee and many TRIDENT parents love to chaperone field trips.

    Ways to Give

    There are many ways to support High 5 and our programs. Donations and Sponsorships are always needed. You can donate monthly. Sponsor a program, event or a week of Summer Camp. We also appreciate the gift of your time!

    We want to engage with parents raising their families within the greater Tampa community. We want to build relationships with people and businesses that are consistent with our mission of building families with healthy ideals.
